1) Log in on the forum.

2) Upload the avatar or Signature on http://imageshack.us/

3) Click in the forum on Profile and you will see Information: | Preferences | Signature | Attachments | Avatar | Friends and foes | Topic being watched | Favourites

4) Then upload the Direct Link, and that is it!
